Enrique Miguel Iglesias Preysler (in. Madrid, May 8, 1975), known as Enrique Iglesias, is a Spanish singer and composer of pop music, son of Julio Iglesias.
Iglesias started his musical career in 1994 by signing a contract with record label Fonovisa company owned by Mexico Televisa in 1995, which boosted the career in its infancy among Spanish-speaking and Latino diaspora in the United States. In 1999 signed with Interscope label and made a crossover to the English-speaking market. He also signed with Universal Music Latino, Universal Music owned to release his records in Spanish. In 2010, he left Interscope and signed with Universal Republic label.
